Returning to Hotel Los Recuerdos was a delightful experience. the warm staff exuded Colombian hospitality, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. the breathtaking views of La Piedra del Peñol from our junior suite were simply mesmerizing, especially at sunset. the room was elegantly decorated and equipped with modern amenities, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the Guatapé region. We took advantage of the on-site facilities, from the gym to the Turkish bath, truly pampering ourselves. the outdoor heated pool, overlooking the El Peñol Reservoir, was a highlight, offering a serene setting to unwind. the bar service by the pool was a nice touch, allowing us to savor cocktails while soaking in the picturesque surroundings. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to both the town and natural attractions like the Rock of Guatape. the convenience of having tours and ticket assistance on-site made exploring the area hassle-free. We even booked a memorable trip on the Majestic yacht, adding a touch of luxury to our vacation. Overall, Hotel Los Recuerdos encapsulates the essence of Colombian hospitality and charm. Whether you're a cultural enthusiast or simply seeking a relaxing getaway, this 3-star mountain retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.
